Just returned home from a week's of perpetual food munching. I had tremendous fun roaming small streets, visiting memorials, scouting for Taiwanese delicacies, and practising my embarrassingly rusty mandarin.
I've always had a thing for Chinese History and Architecture, so visiting these memorial sites and museums certainly did not bore me. The elegance of the varied structures and minute detailing blew me away.

One of the evenings, I had the immense pleasure of visiting a speakeasy bar - Ounce. Located behind the walls of a modern café, Relax Expresso (R/X), Ounce is a secret, dimly-lit, chilled bar that serves one of the most creative and yummy cocktails I've ever had. They don't have a fixed menu, so just tell them what you're feeling/ craving for and they'll mix up something super delish! I'm still reminiscing the yummy passion-fruit infused Mojito I had that night.

During the trip, I've been throwing on some light weight, comfortable clothing to beat the heat in Taipei.

It's only been a week since I returned from Taipei and I've already been missing this vibrant city with all that it offers. I definitely hope to visit again soon...
